I AM — arguably two of the most powerful words in the English language. The words we utter wield the power to uplift or diminish, to foster success or court failure.

Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Our tongue can emerge as a weapon of harm or a tool for healing and construction.

Pause and reflect before articulating negativity about oneself, your future, or those dear to you. Resist the urge to vocalize defeat over aspects such as your career, health, finances, or any other domain of life.

Now, let’s delve into a profound revelation. The phrase “I AM” holds significant weight.

Beyond our personal declarations, consider the deeper, sacred meaning of “I AM.” In Exodus 3:14, God reveals to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” instructing him to convey to the Israelites, “’I AM’ has sent me to you.”

Furthermore, Exodus 20:7 cautions, “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.”

Therefore, when we declare, “I am not going to achieve that promotion,” or “I am not going to overcome this illness,” we risk not only articulating defeat (as cautioned in Proverbs 18) but also, albeit unintentionally, misusing the divine name (as per Exodus 3:14 & 20:7).

When we align our declarations with God’s promises, we invite His power into our lives and circumstances. Therefore, let’s proclaim together (now and daily), “FATHER, I am grateful that ‘I am’ strong, ‘I am’ healthy, ‘I am’ wise, ‘I am’ prosperous, ‘I am’ victorious in all I do, for I am covered in Your boundless and unending grace.”

By doing so, we reaffirm our faith in His supreme power and activate His most magnificent and generous blessings! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen!!
